Lab Mobile GALILEO has been specifically created to foster exploratory science teaching at intermediate level. Whether it’s earth or science physics, in this age range keeping pupils’ attention can be challenging. A hands-on approach is fundamental both for keeping their focus on the subject and for a profitable teaching.
Lab Mobile GALILEO is real fully sufficient laboratory with a chemical- resistant lab top with sink, water, burners, a storage/organizer system with drawers and compartments filled with appliances, tools and demonstrators, a flexible DC power supply and much more on 4 heavy duty wheels. Teachers can now take the lab to their classrooms and quickly arrange experiments and demonstrations without organizational dramas.
Scores of experiments are detailed in the manual that is provided both as hardcopy and e-format
Galileo’s 1st drawer contains two trays that accommodate equipment that allows to easily show principles of mechanics, including fluid mechanics, and conduct simple experiments concerning concepts as measure, force, weight, mass, , motion of bodies (speed, trajectory and acceleration), force and energy, communicating vessels, Archimedes’ principles.

• the second drawer contains, in the first tray, everything needed to carry out fundamental heat experiments such as the use of the thermometer, the determination of the melting temperature of the ice and boiling temperature of water, the difference between temperature and heat. The second tray contains devices and instruments that introduce magnetism and electricity: various types of magnets and a 2D magnetic field viewer with iron filings, allow to show the forces of attraction and magnetic repulsion and make the magnetic field lines visible; the magnets and a demonstration compass help revealing how the instrument works and introduce earth’s magnetic poles; moreover a practical board for the study of electricity helps introducing electric current, its laws and how they apply to electrical circuits
• In the 3rd drawer there are optical and acoustic instruments and tools,
which demonstrate the basics of electrostatics and of the formation of waves of different types. The optical instruments, like lenses and prisms, helps demonstrating photometry, light intensity and geometric optics. Acoustic instruments show the waves and the phenomena caused by their transmission (reflection, refraction, interference, etc.). Wool and silk fabrics, as well as the glass, ebonite and o glass rods with a hollow sphere and an electrostatic pendulum, help displaying electrostatic concepts such as charge by friction, induction, conductors, insulators and so on.

• The 4th drawer contains two trays that help understanding the principles
of Chemistry and Biology. They allow to conduct experiments with basic
compounds (acids, alkalis, salts, etc.), as well as the simple chemical reactions, showing the importance of the proportion between reagents. It is also possible to conduct simple experiments on plant physiology, which demonstrate the importance of water in the plants’ life cycle, as well as the different phases of their life, such as germination, photosynthesis and evaporation. The remaining appliances together with the multimedia material, allow to explore various aspects of human anatomy and physiology. An autopsy kit, a powerful digital microscope, microscope slides and two microscope sets provide an opportunity to enter the microscopic aspects of the human and animal anatomy.

• In the first tray of last drawer there are demonstrational supports to characterize soil, water and air together with the set of different rocks to introduce their characteristics and relative nomenclature. There is also a tellurion to demonstrate and explain the astronomic facts of earth and moon and their relation to the sun. The set in the second tray helps exploring the most common sources of alternative energies. These sources are solar and wind energy that can be also used to produce hydrogen which can in turn be used to feed a small fuel cell to demonstrate how potential chemical energy can be converted into electric energy.

Lab Mobile GALILEO includes a powerful Digital WiFi Microscope
The microscope head, with high-speed and high-resolution imaging technology, allows the use of the microscope in standard mode through the eyepiece or in multimedia mode, sharing in real time the microscopic field taken on tablets or Windows portals via Wifi.
Eyepiece type WF 10X / 18mm. DIN 4X / 0.10, 10X / 0.25, 40X / 0.65 / S Achromatic objectives mounted on an inverted three-position revolver.
