Social Media has made an impact on our everyday lives. It’s changed the way we access information and communicate around the globe. We’re now a generation that embraces the digital convenience of lifestyle and many would regard the Internet as a marketplace for information.
Almost every business nowadays uses the social media in promoting their products and services and in reaching for more clients. A lot of business pages have been seen active in the social media particularly in the time of the pandemic, the list includes Hytec Power Inc.
Social media engagement is one of the responses of Hytec Power to the challenges brought by the pandemic. Just like other companies, Hytec Power used to spend so much for printed brochures and newsletter. But when the metro was put into lockdown and physical social activities were prohibited, Hytec Power opted to be active in social media for its marketing activities.
Little we know that this will be recognized by the Philippines Social Media Awards, an award-giving body that acknowledges and highlight the achievements of individuals/brands/services thru social media platform.

As such, Engr. Eric Jude S. Soliman, President and CEO of Hytec Power, was interviewed in the NETIZEN’S TV SHOW, in which he talked about how the company coped up with the pandemic and how social media helped us to continue our operations. He also shared the company’s humble beginnings and how we stayed strong for more than 27 years.
The live interview was conducted on December 8, 2021 and was watched by many through the Facebook page of Netizen’s TV Show.
Engr. Soliman will personally receive the award in the Awards Gala Night to be held on December 15, 2021, 7:00 pm-11:00 pm at the Grand Ballroom 1 & 2 of OKADA MANILA, New Seaside Drive, Entertainment City, Parañaque City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The event is in cooperation with Netizens TV Online Livestream Services for the benefit of CENTER FOR SAGIP-HIRAP CHARITY FOUNDATION, INC. to recognize companies/products/brands/ services that made exceptional usage of Social Media platforms to positively impact society and the consumers as well.
Truly, Hytec Power is thankful and honored to receive this award. We never imagined that our small acts and simple posting on social media will be given credits. We just thought of reaching more people and more clients through different platforms and staying in the business just like other companies. This award is important for us and will serve as an inspiration to do better and to be more responsible in using social media platforms for the betterment of our society.
