On August 3-4, 2015, the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) conducted its General Directorate Conference at TESDA Complex, Taguig City. The event was participated in by seventeen (17) Regional Directors, around 80 Provincial Directors, 100 Administrators of TESDA Technology Institutions and officials from TESDA Central Office.
To take full advantage of this gathering and to promote Green TVET, the TESDA Green Technology Center (GTC) conducted an exhibit on Renewable Energy (RE) with the theme “renewable Energy: The Power of Choice.”
HPI was invited to be part of the exhibit, being a partner who supports in promoting green TVET. It showcased its products on Green technology such as the solar energy trainers and the smart grid training package.
The GTC serves as an eco-friendly center for the conduct of green technology training programs, showcase of various green-infused products and other activities involving green concepts. These activities serve as instruments in creating public awareness on the potentials and advantages of a green environment.
