True to its mission of becoming a reliable partner and solution provider, Hytec Power, Inc. was recognized as one of the outstanding partners of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA). The recognition took place in the Partners Appreciation Ceremonies held at the Century Park Hotel, Manila on December 15, 2021.
Engr. Eric Jude S. Soliman, President and CEO of Hytec Power received the award, together with other institutions who have shown unyielding support to the Technical-Vocational Education and Training (TVET) sector in the country and to the agency as well.
TESDA recognized the efforts of Hytec Power in bridging the skills mismatch in the country by strengthening and elevating tech-voc training in the country, in order to improve and transform the lives of our people and uplift the spirit of the tech-voc community. Hytec Power was also an advocate of skills competitions. It was noted that Hytec Power was one of the venues of the Quezon City District Skills Competition and a consistent partner for national and international levels.
In his message, Sec. Isidro S. Lapeña, TESDA Director General, highlighted the crucial role being played by industry partners to continuously produce tech-voc graduates that meet the skills requirements needed in the workplace. From being supply-driven to more focused and demand-driven agency, TESDA remained steadfast to perform their responsibility to the nation amidst the pandemic.
Dubbed as the TESDA Champion for conceptualizing innovative training solutions for the institution, Secretary Lapena expressed his sincere gratitude to all partners and asked for their continued cooperation and collaboration in achieving the agency’s goals and objectives.
The program ended with a collaborative toast to celebrate industry and government partnership and to hope for a stronger cooperation.
It was indeed an honor for Hytec Power to be recognized as TESDA’s outstanding partner. It serves as an inspiration to the company to be more responsible in supporting government programs for the betterment of the lives of our countrymen.
