Our staff can prepare customized training programs and equipment to fit your needs. TII can analyze your requirements, design a unique and custom-tailored program, and ensure proper implementation at your facility.
Technology Fundamentals
Technology Fundamentals : Mini Series
Electricity & Electronics – MB 100
This learning system familiarizes students with electricity through an introduction to electronics applications. Our trainer provides a foundational understanding of how electricity works by illustrating how electricity is distributed throughout a variety of inputs and outputs.
Students will learn about magnetism, electrical components (resistors, diodes, capacitors), progress to instrumentation, AC / DC power and schematics. They will learn how to construct and measure series and parallel circuits. Apply electrical principles and physical properties, including Ohm’s Law, to the developed circuits.
Advanced Systems
Industrial Fluid Power: Explorer Series
- Industrial Pneumatics
- Industrial Hydraulics
- Electro-Pneumatics
- Electro-Hydraulics
- Advanced Electro-Hydraulics
Industrial Pneumatics – EXPI
The Industrial Pneumatics training system provides the hands-on experience required to effectively troubleshoot and repair pneumatics systems used by today’s employers. This module familiarizes students with design, construction, and operation of pneumatic components. The EXPI acts as a building block to TII’s other technology systems, designed to interface with our other mobile benches.
Our training system is accompanied by a comprehensive student manual. The curriculum begins with the fundamentals of pneumatics, which can be used as an introduction to the technology or as a review of key principles. Additional sections focus on different types of valves, cylinders, and pneumatic devices like vacuum Venturi generators, air motors, and rotary actuators.
Integrated Automation
- Machine Process Control
- Ancillary Device Control System
- Analog Process Control System
- Electro-Pneumatics
- Mechatronics
- Single Axis Gantry CIM System
- Single Axis Gantry Modified Style CIM System
- Dual Axis Gantry Style CIM System
- PLC Application Simulation Modules
Machine Process Control – 650A-MPC
The 650A-MPC Machine Process Control is an electro-pneumatic PLC application training system. This application replicates an automated material handling process typically found in manufacturing control situations. Training activities begin with basic control concepts and quickly progress to more comprehensive process sequencing activities. Students will gain hands-on experience using valves, actuators, industrial sensors, and conveyors.
The 650A-MPC application consists of an electro-pneumatically actuated parts dispenser, which dispenses parts onto a bi-directional belt conveyor. As parts are conveyed, sensors check for various part characteristics. Based on the sensor inputs and programming logic, parts are processed per requirements. Parts can be sorted, counted, stamped, or correct orientation determined. The entire process is controllable by a PLC.
