Greetings from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority!
The COVID-19 pandemic and the hastening of the 4IR dramatically altered the way we work, the way we communicate, and the way we live. As global economies gradually show signs of recovery, the world of work continues to undergo significant shifts forcing workers and enterprises to adapt fast. With its straddling role both in education and labor and its potential for agility, TVET must also undertake new strategies and re-calibrate policies to scale up and push forward the sector and provide skills to its clientele to aid the Philippines bounce back to economic recovery.
To this end, TESDA is organizing the TVET Policy eForum 2021 on 03 December 2021, 1:00 – 4:00 PM via Zoom and Facebook Live with the theme “Disruption to Direction: Adaptive Strategies in TVET for Resilience towards the Future.” Picking up from the insights and recommendations from the eFora Series in 2020, the TVET Policy eForum 2021 seeks to present Philippine TVET’s new and enhanced strategies for the workers and enterprises to adapt to the new normal and be future-ready. Also, reactants from academe, industry, and international organizations shall provide their insights on the topics discussed.
