PRINCIPLE OF HIGH-FREQUENCY BOLT HEATER

Using a conventional thermocouple heater and measuring hole, insert a water-cooling type work coil.
The alternating magnetic flux generated from the work coil by the alternating current penetrates into the bolt, by which very high eddy current is induced within the bolt, and the bolt is heated by its Joule heat.

Heat is conducted from the bolt center to the outside and the bolt is expanded thermally, thereby the nut becomes easy to turn.
Possible to control the input time and input power so that the temperature rise may be suppressed to under the heating temperature by the conventional electrothermal bolt heater, and the material of the bolt itself may not be affected.
