Functions and Features

1. Equipment Features:

1) The Automation Training Systems is installed in console mode which guarantees the stability and liability of the equipment, and the mechanical designing part moves within the area of the table, with moving mechanism parts protected by multiple devices including mandatory protection ones such as organic glass protection net, emergency stop switches, etc.

2) The Automation Training Systems is of superior flexibility and diversity. By different application and combination, it can be used in multiple environments and meet the requirements of vocational colleges’ practice training and skill competition development.

3) With help of practice on particle bottling and package storing, the operator can understand better the working principle of the machine; the diverse jobs from different working station can also keep the students learning interest.

4) Comprehensiveness of systems’ application: Systems contain subsystems like intelligent assembling and production system, automatic packing system, automatic 3D warehouse system and intelligent logistics system, automatic examination and quality control system, production procedure data collection and control system, etc. 

5) Vast coverage of knowledge and skill: the equipment involves mechatronics knowledge such as industrial robot application technology, PCL technology, screen touch technology, communication application technology, servo application technology, AC frequency conversion technology, electric and electronic application technology, sensor application technology, pneumatic controlling technology, machine installment and adjustment technology, and etc.

6) Combination of purposes on competition and practice training teaching: flexible mixture of equipment, convenient module expansion. Increment or decrement of any functional module will not place any influence on installment and connection of the rest modules, which produces subjects that are more flexible. As a standard, the equipment has 5 working units with each one emphasizing on different knowledge and skills, which makes teaching easier to proceed, meanwhile, with high modularized design, it becomes more simple and easier for teaching and practice training on equipment reparation and maintenance.

2. Functions and Features of Each Working Station:

(1)Main Station :

The main station controls the operation status and error information for 5 sub-stations via Ethernet and it can do step-by-step debugging on each operation procedure of each sub-station and real-time monitoring the sub-stations’ network connection status. With touch screen and pushbuttons, the main station runs overall management on the sub-stations, achieving functions like one-button start and one-button stop and giving the users more simple operation. (2)Sub-station 1 :

It consists of 3 parts, i.e. material bottle feeding module (rotating working platform), particle circular feeding module (rotating working platform) and conveying belt module. Once the system starts, first, the material bottle feeding module starts working to push the material bottles to the conveying belt which will deliver the bottles to the position where the particle will be circularly feeding, at the same time, the particle circular feeding module is sorting various kinds of particles before feeding them into the bottles, after that, the filled bottles will be delivered to the next sub-station. (3)Sub-station 2:

It is composed of a material wheel with 4 positions, feeding position, capping position, screwing position and discharging position. Once the system starts, the feeding position fetches the material bottles from the previous sub-station and places them on the material wheel which rotates the bottles to the capping position, after that, the wheel rotates to screwing position to screw the caps tightly to the bottles before it reaches the discharging position and delivers the bottles to the next position. (4)Sub-station 3:

It is made up of 2 conveying belts, the main conveying belt containing examination device to run quality examination and store the data for the passing material bottles. If the passing bottles are qualified ones, a blue light will glow inside the examination station, and goes off if defective, which give user direct knowledge of the product quality. When the defective bottles arrive at the recycling position, the recycling air cylinder pushes the material bottles to the recycling conveying belt to make sure the material recycled for future use, while the qualified bottles go past the recycling position to the spot where the robot will fetch them to proceed to next sub-station for packing. (5)Sub-station 4:

It is constituted by 4 parts, box lid bin, box body bin, the robot and labeling platform. Once the system starts, the robot grasps the material bottles from the previous sub-station to box body bin; when the box body is full, the robot draws a lid from the box lid bin and assembles it to the box body, then puts the according label on the lid, after that, it beeps indicating the finishing of packing and informing the next sub-station for storage. (6)Sub-station 5:

It contains 2 parts, storage wheel and arc-shaped 3D warehouse. After the packaging stage, the storage wheel draws the boxes from the previous sub-station and delivers them to the vacant spots each of which can identify and protect the boxes with a photoelectric sensor. Please refer to Picture 7:
