SFL Endseal Tape
PVC tape to provide temporary protection of the cutback of pipe coated in a pipe coating plant
A flexible polyvinyl chloride tape coated with a rubber resin pressure sensitive adhesive. It’s main use is temporary protection of the cutback area of plant-applied pipe coatings against of water that may lead to detrimental effects in this area like corrosion and plant coating disbandment.
SFL RockShield
Thick polyethylene mesh for protecting pipeline coatings from rocky backfills and other damage.
SFL RockShield is a thick polyethylene mesh for protecting pipeline coatings from rocky backfills. It cushions the impact of rocks or hard backfill which can cause damage to installed coating systems. It also offers protection from abrasive objects after installation of coated systems, prohibiting geologic movements from damaging pipelines. It can also be used for offshore purposes to protect against impact damage by lay barge rollers, anchors, rock placement, infill and fishing (trawl) activities.

High Temperature, UV Resistant Tapes
Designed for corrosion prevention on new and existing pipelines with a maximum operating temperature of 121°C (250°F). UV resistant so applicable to both buried and above-ground applications. Also as an additional UV protective outer layer for other Polyken tapes.
Polyken® YGIII Water Pipe Coating
A cold applied multi-layer plant coating system for water pipelines
The Polyken® YGIII System is a multi-layer coating system used primarily for the protection of steel and ductile iron water pipelines It consists of: – A liquid adhesive to be applied to the pipe surface – An anti-corrosion tape to be applied over the adhesive – A mechanical protective tape or tape system to be applied over the anti-corrosion tape.
Polyken® Synergy Fused Polyethylene Coating
A multi-layer, fused polyethylene plant-applied coating system
Synergy™ is a multilayer plant-applied coating system consisting of a thermally activated primer, cross-linked, thermoplastic elastomer layer, and a tough polyolefin top layer. During application the three layers are fused, resulting in strong mechanical and chemical bonds that maximize performance. Thermal fusion generates mechanical toughness and superior anti-corrosión properties that ensure long-term pipeline protection.
Polyken® Liquid Adhesive Primers
An effective liquid adhesive system
Liquid adhesives consisting of butyl-based elastomers blended with polymeric resins dissolved in an organic solvent system. They can be used for machine or hand brush applications and provide excellent adhesion to the pipe substrate and cathodic disbondment resistance.
Polyken® Butyl Rubber Fillers
A butyl based adhesive filler tape
The Polyken filler tapes are designed as an underlying filler material prior to the application of Polyken coating systems. The elastomeric formulation is very formable, making it ideal for filling in transition areas. The filler tapes maintain flexibility over a wide temperature range and under various conditions encountered in the field.
